the camp sites were spacious and provided ample choice for a variety of setups. the facilities of shower, charging station, drinking water, firewood and dish sink were an unexpected plus. the rain was relentless, but also provided the spectacular experience of dense fog on the mountains. Baddeck is an amazing small community not too far away and I enjoyed my time greatly at Anne's. Thomas Colquhoun

Had a wonderful stay, and would definitely return. Beautiful, serene spot in the woods. Great place to disconnect.

I camped at the Hawthorn Campsite, it had a outdoor toilet that was handy, about 60 meters from my tent area. The shower room was clean and neat, with the bonus feature of a small fridge that I used for my 4 days. There was a charging station just outside of the washroom by the main house, I was able to charge my cellphone and inverter daily. The gazebo was a real plus as I was able to use their WiFi and it kept me out of the mosquitos and deer flys ! The only downsides were the long drive in 3.2 kms. and the remoteness of the site to other attractions ! Overall I had a good stay !
