One bedroom cottage on the Gulf offers spectacular views from the open deck! Spacious parking for boat/trailer just a few minutes from downtown marina. Launch a house kayak free of charge right from your yard and enjoy a day on the water! There is another home that is within 25 feet to this home that could have guests renting, as well. Shared space will be laundry space downstairs, use of kayaks, and yard area. Pet fee is $50 per pet per visit, 2 pet maximum. King bed with full bath, small kitchen with all the necessities. Patty and I loved the our stay! Very clean and beautiful views. When we visit again, this is our go to place.
We did not receive our check-in instructions, so we called the rental agency and they were prompt about getting those to us. Whatever issues we had the communication was great, and they took care of immediately. The cottage was pretty and clean and at night the dock and water surrounding the dock was beautiful.
It was just as expected, small but worked for us. The kayak launch in the backyard was perfect, when we followed the tide schedule. Beautiful sunsets. Steamers was a great place for dinner and the sidewalks made it possible to ride our bikes to town and back. We had a very nice week!
Great location
Beautiful location on the water. Tiny home but decorated nicely and clean. I would not be modest if you are staying with another person. You have to pass through the bathroom to go from the kitchen to bedroom which also has louver doors. We did bring food to cook and it was nice to have the kitchen and supplies. Recommend getting there before dusk or you will be the noseeum and mosquitoes dinner. I would bring a heavy duty bug spray. Kayaks were great to have and easy to launch from right there. Nice to paddle around all the small islands. The dock is new just wish there were some seats or a swing to sit on. You will need to either drive or rent a golf cart to go to Dock St. Make sure to check out the shops and restaurants. Grab a boat tour with Island Tours. I would recommend 2nd St cafe for breakfast. Make sure to catch a sunset as well as a sunrise. You are just around the corner from the Cedar Key Museum SP. It was very relaxing which is what we were wanting.

Hwy 19 to SR 24. Arriving in to Cedar Key and turn right on Whiddon Avenue, Right on Gulf Boulevard and then turn left on Hodges Avenue. Drive to the end of Hodges Avenue and drive to the opening area directly at the end of Hodges. Locate a chain link fence and entrance is to the right.

I am a realtor with Pelican Realty and I live here with my husband who is the director of UF/IFAS Nature Coast Biological Station.
