There may not be any other place in California that combines serenity, quiet, isolation and comfort like this place, not to mention lake access. Heather puts in a huge amount of effort to maintain the cabins and the area as a whole. I came here in order to recover from some health issues and could not have asked for a better place. Pure healing and pure relaxation. The style / ambience of the cabins is lovingly curated to the last detail.

Heather was an awesome host. She is friendly and responsive and gave us lots of info on the history of the cabins and surrounding area. The cabin was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Great place to detox from phones. We also enjoyed taking a dip in the Eel River nearby, it’s beautiful! Would love to come back with a group sometime. Check it out!

Heather’s cabin lodge was an escape from the city and everything we were hoping for! Super dog friendly location and spacious cabin. Loved that she supplied firewood, starter supplies, and a grill. Best part was the little polo field and oasis space for the dog to run around and meet some donkeys.

If you are looking for a place to unplug and reboot, this is it. This was our second visit and will be making more. It is so serene and quiet that we always feel like we are the only ones left on the planet! The hiking is amazing. The surrounding nature is amazing. The history of the place and the area is amazing. Do yourself a favor and visit Hull Mt. Lodge!!

What a wonderful, secluded and serene place! Host was there to greet us and answer any questions. We loved all the antiques and older buildings and our dogs really enjoyed the large polo field. We definitely plan on coming back!
