Set in a quiet neighbourhood, this is a light and airy home with plenty of space to entertain. The kitchen is open-plan to two lounges that both open to gardens, and a dining room. There is a main bedroom en-suite, a room with a double bed, and one with a bunk bed. The bathrooms include the en-suite, a full family bathroom, and a stand-alone toilet (3 toilets in total). The modern kitchen is spacious and open-plan to a formal lounge and dining room on the one side overlooking the front garden, and a TV room/ sunroom one the other side, which opens out onto a patio and lawn in the back garden. There is a trampoline and jungle gym in the garden, with a porta-pool. The rooms include a spacious main bedroom with en-suite. The 2nd room is a play room. The third room has a double bed. And the bedroom at the end of the hallway has a bunk bed and a desk. There is a garage with parking for 1 car and direct access to the house. The front garden has electric fencing, and beams across the garden for security. There are beams in the backyard too, and an alarm system in the house.

Beautiful tastefully decorated family home with everything you could need and especially perfect for young children. So enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for better facilities. Many thanks to our hosts!

Uma excelente opção. A casa tem um espaço interior e exterior muito bom. Muito confortável e bem equipada com tudo O sítio e sossegado e parece ser seguro . Faz nos parecer que estamos em nossa casa . Encontramos a casa super limpa e fomos atenciosamente recebidos pela sra Jennifer, muito bom para grupos de dois ou três casais com ou sem crianças .. Adoramos 😍😍😍

The house is familiy friendly, clean and very beautiful. It is not central in Cape Town, but if you have a car you travel 20 minutes to town. The cat, Ash, is very sweet, but can be loud at night. The house has a nice garden to sit in and the rooms are big. A supermarket is not far away. I can recommand this accomodation for families who want to enjoy Cape Town and the surrounding areas.

Our family had a lovely stay. The couple was welcoming and friendly. The location of the house is central and only a few kilometres from Cape Town CBD, Airport and the Northern suburbs. The house was neat and well equipped. Overall a great relaxed place to stay in. It felt like a home away from home. Jennifer (the host) even provided a mini-booklet with information for us - this was very handy. Thanks for making our family holiday experience so smooth! Definitely recommended.

A car would be needed. The nearest train station is a 30min walk away, or minibus taxi 10min walk away. The house is a 10min walk (2min drive) from the local shopping centre. Uber can be used from the house and around Cape Town.

My husband, Ken, and I are born and bred Cape Townians. We have 2 young daughters, and a Jack Russel dog and a tabby cat (who will both stay elsewhere). We love travelling and have been to Italy, Zanzibar, the UK, Mauritius and Thailand together. We love Cape Town and highly recommend the mother city as a tourist destination, and Pinelands as a central, family-friendly base to visit it from. If you'd like more help with tourism advice we'd be more than happy to help.
