Our cabin sits on 35 acres in a beautiful valley in Southwestern Colorado. Rustic and cozy, this 742 sf cabin has a bedroom with a full bed and a loft with 4 twin beds. Get away from it all and relax in a quiet atmosphere. 40 min to Durango, 35 min to Mesa Verde National Park, + 25 min to Mancos. We recommend a 4 wd vehicle for winter. Roads are plowed to the entrance of the ranch + plowing is set up for heavy storms, but we can’t guarantee timing of it. Reach out with any questions. There is one queen bed and 4 twin beds. There are two beds (one small and one large) for your pets :)

I took my 4 kids on a spring break vacation and because of my kids age ranges wanted something that was suitable for a 16 yr old to a 3 yr old.. this cabin was perfect. They had games for all ages and had drawing supplies there as well . Their list of things to do was great as we had never been to the area. Ryan was also very fast at responding. If we ever decide to go back we will definitely choose Ryan’s cabin again.
This cabin was home away from home. It had a fully stocked kitchen, all we had to supply was the food. The fireplace made our stay very cozy. The scenery was beautiful. Everything was clean and ready to go. My husband and I traveled with our three sons ( all under 8) and we were comfortable and had the best time! The perfect escape.
We had such an amazing stay at the Log Cabin at Cherry Creek. The cabin is tucked back into the hills and the location is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Our kids enjoyed hiking and exploring the area. Kathleen and Ryan went through a labor of love marking out a hiking path for their guests. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable and we felt right at home. The kids loved getting to stay in the upstairs loft. The kitchen is stocked with the majority of your basic cookware and pantry items, so having brought our own groceries it was easy to prepare meals and eat at the cabin. They also have lots of games and books available for families to enjoy. We would gladly stay at the cabin again and highly recommend to others.
We loved our stay in this cozy, rustic cabin. The area is so beautiful, quiet, & peaceful & we enjoyed sitting outside and also walking the property. Our little dog loved it too. It was really cool and interesting to read the story about this homestead. Communication & instructions to get here were clear and easy. Great place to explore the surrounding areas of Mesa Verde, Cortez, and Durango from.
What a beautiful, amazing cabin stay. Best hosts, they were extremely helpful and comunicative but also respected our privacy. We had an amazing trip in their lovely cabin!!! Loved the views, the stars, the scenery. We had a great time. If you are choosing a cabin save your time and book this one its perfect for you and your family

Please reach out with any questions in regard to winter road conditions. We recommend a 4 wd vehicle from December - March. The roads are plowed in the winter. We have plowing set up for the entrance of the ranch to the cabin, but we can’t guarantee when the plow man will arrive during heavy storms. We have a snow blower for the driveway.
