This was my second time booking Henri’s place and I wasn’t disappointed. He made everything very warm and welcoming for my parents who were travelling from Australia in UK winter. The place was beautiful as ever, and my parents loved it.

My sister and I had a very comfortable couple of days in the Coach House. It was so peaceful and had a lovely walk around the gardens. This was only a short visit as we were visiting family but would certainly recommend others to stay here as it was so convenient being a short stroll away from Aylsham where there are many places to eat out. All in all we felt we had chosen well.

We had a fabulous two days in a most peaceful relaxing place. We loved the garden and the pond and the fact we could have drinks on the patio outside. We loved being able to bring our dog to the air bnb and as the weather suddenly got colder the icing on the cake was the fire. Henri checked we had everything and was so helpful. We would go back again. The locals were very friendly too. Loved it.

The Coach House is one of those places you just want to keep to yourself! I can’t recommend it highly enough. The accommodation is spacious, very comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped - not least the excellent gym in the converted stable next door. The setting is beautiful and tranquil, you wake to birdsong, deer in the paddock, and are surrounded by wildlife as you meditate or do yoga by the pond. It’s hard to believe you’re just 5 minutes’ walk from the lovely market town of Aylsham. It is also the perfect springboard for the North Norfolk coast, surrounding market towns or Norfolk Broads. Henri and Barrie were perfect hosts - very warm and welcoming, discrete, but on hand if needed. I based myself here for a week and could definitely have stayed longer. Definitely my first choice if I’m staying in the area - thank you both!
