The property was beautiful, very peaceful and secluded. The water front view from the back deck along with the in ground pool was amazing. To be able to have so many beds and bathrooms readily available for a large group was very accommodating. The host was very responsive and attentive. Some negatives unfortunately are we paid a lot of money ($2300) to stay here for 2 nights and yes it was a private remote massive location there were many things that were not up to par for the price we paid. The master bathroom bath tub was disgusting (loaded with rust in the bottom of the tub) and had no blinds or thick curtains for privacy while showering. The kitchen stove does not work well (took almost a hour to boil water for potatoes) and the fridge was barley keeping things cold (we called for assistance and we’re told it was unplugged up too to stop the dinging and if we wanted it colder we could plug it back in) so we did so and had to listen to the fridge make a annoying noise every 60 sec

Shou's place was great for our large group. The first level open concept gave us more than adequate space. There are some details that could stand some attention. Overall, we are satisfied with our experience at Shou's place.

The property has a great location on the lake. The swimming pool was very nice but wasn't heated. There are plenty of rooms and enough bathrooms for a large group, but the bathrooms don't have lockable doors. Two bathrooms are inside a bedroom which is ok but two common bathrooms needs to have locks. The place wasn't clean and needs some updates as well. There was a TV in the house but wasn't in an area without any seating. We weren't planning on watching TV but it could've been useful on a rainy day. It's hard to see the entrance to the house at night since there is only a mailbox on the main road without any lights. We had an issue with the hot water but the owner was very responsive and took care of it quickly. Overall, the house is a great for a big group with a gorgeous view of Lake Champlain.

Shou's place was great for a private gateway with friends. The lake and surroundings provided tranquil views and the pool was great for us. The house was very clean and organized and we had no trouble feeling at home. Shou herself was very responsive and friendly. There were a few issues and questions that were addressed right away. I would not hesitate to stay again!
