We had a fantastic time at Abdulrahman’s place! We had booked at smaller flat but upon arrival got upgraded to a bigger apartment in the same house for free. It was stunning! We had our own kitchen and a large, beautiful living room. The bedroom and bathroom were also both amazing. When arriving on the island, we got greeted by two friendly women, showing us the way to the apartment. A third women, Loyce, showed us the house, including a stunning rooftop. Abdulrahman’s also connected us to a local tour operator, with whom we went on day sailing trip and really enjoyed it. All in all, we had a great time in Shela and can only recommend Abdulrahman’s place!

We had an incredible stay at Shela, Lamu . The staff were exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The chef prepared delicious meals that exceeded our expectations (the fish curry and coconut rice was my favorite not forgetting waking up to great espresso coffee). Our host Abdul graciously upgraded us to the stunning Jasmine villa, which added an extra layer of luxury to our vacation. The proximity to the beach and beachfront restaurants made exploring the area a breeze. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and having a dedicated chef on-site was a fantastic perk. Overall, the beautiful environment and exceptional hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended

My stay with Babu in Shella was magical! Babu was so welcoming, helped show me around, and helped find new accommodations for me once I decided to extend my stay. The accommodations were great. Very comfortable, a short walk to the beach, with a breezy rooftop that had a great view of the ocean. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time I come back :)
