Fantastic spacious lodge in stunning landscape. Equipped with everything you need for a family holiday or quiet escape. An ideal base any time of year. As a guest you will have access to the on-site indoor pool and gym (included in the price) and can also book spa treatments, flow rider or even the on-site Aqua & Wake parks. The lodge provides a large open-plan living space on the ground floor with south facing balcony for alfresco dining and a further large living space with Sofabed. Designed to provide everything you need for your break, the Lodge has its own off-street driveway. Set in an elevated position, you can enjoy the view over the resort and valley. The lodge has its own private balconies, ideal for relaxing, enjoying a morning coffee or a gourmet evening BBQ. There is a large heated wetsuit storage cupboard next to the front door, which is ideal for drying sandy or muddle clothes and wetsuits. Inside the lodge is a double bedroom, a smaller bedroom which can be made up as a twin or double, and there is a further pull out double bed on the first floor in the 2nd lounge. The open-plan kitchen, dining & living space on the ground floor opens out onto the terrace and provides the perfect place to cook and socialise. On the first floor, there is an additional lounge, to sit and read, watch TV or use the PlayStation 4. There are also numerous board games for the whole family. The Kitchen is well-equipped, with everything you will need to produce simple picnics for the beach or full evening meals. There is also a washing machine and dryer should you need them during your stay.

As a family with three small kids we had a fantastic stay at Skyla Lodge. The lodge itself is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, it felt more spacious than the photos suggest and it’s really well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a week away. Great location as well, just a short drive to some amazing beaches and there’s also the added bonus of the on site pool and gym to help break up any rainy days, though def try and get there early. Highly recommend.
Wonderful lodge with fantastic amenities, very comfortable and the perfect place to stay while there was a storm and terrible weather going on, the ps4 came in very handy as well as the indoor activities offered by the resort. Highly recommend
Couldn't recommend Skylar Lodge enough. The entire place was spotless on arrival with everything needed for an extremely comfortable stay, and decorated to an impeccable standard. The location was perfect, close to the main road for easy travel to loads of great places and such a quiet, peaceful setting with amazing views of the Cornish countryside. We had such a relaxing holiday, despite some rainy days, all thanks to this homely lodge.
Would definitely recommend Dominic as a host and the lodge for your next visit to Cornwall! Dominic sent regular messages to update on various things on the run up to our trip and was very friendly over the messages. The lodge has fantastic views and was in a great location on the resort, really close to the pool, restaurant, shop and park. The lodge has everything a family would need including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer which was great for us having a messy Two year old that loves ice cream but wears more than he eats! We had a lovely stay and hope we can return in the future!
The lodge is very well equipped and has everything you need, we absolutley loved the ninja bbq. The place is clean and stylish and has plenty of room We was given some free gifts of wine and biscuits which was such a nice added touch. Location was easy enough to find and beaches about a 15 minute drive.

Skylla Lodge is located in the popular Retallack resort, offering a range of activities. Access to some of these facilities are free ,including use of the indoor swimming pool and gym. Others, such as the water sports, Spa, Aqua Park and Flo Rider (Surf Machine) can be booking and paid for in advance. There is also a outdoor adventure Playground and on site shop. The site itself is beautifully landscaped and the lodges and cabins are set around a series of ponds and lakes.
For ease there is a well stocked shop for basic groceries on site as well as a fab restaurant, bar and coffee shop.
If you can drag yourself away from the activities, the harbour town of Padstow is about a 15 minute drive with its large range of restaurants and lovely Cornish vibe. There are also a range of large sandy beaches all within 15 minutes. Whether you are looking for the peace and quiet of a secluded beach such has Tregirls and Hawkers cove or the full on surf experience of Polzeath or Fistral Beach... All are easily accessible.
There is free off road parking at the Lodge and bikes can be stored on the second terrace if you bring them (the camel trail is a great day out and runs from Wadebridge up to Padstow or to Bodmin in other direction).
if you are relying on Public transport there are bus services but please do check local bus times before booking as they can be seasonal.
