CocoVivo like something out of a dream. Communication and directions from Elisabeth were superb. She was there to greet me upon arrival. Made me feel right at home. Was also greeted by the two lovely children/dogs Mazoo and Cap-E-Tan. Hope I spelled it right. They say its not luxury but thats debatable lol. I felt like i was at a luxury resort in the jungle and with nature. When I tell you CocoVivo is the definition of eco friendly. Doesnt get any more eco friendly than this. The room is very spacious and the private deck with the hammock was so relaxing. The bed is comfy and the panoramic secured screens keep the bugs out. But u will have natural visitors cuz u are in the jungle. The hiking trail is so much fun and a short loop with so many cool sightings. Saw 3 sloths, 3 hollering monkeys with a baby. Cool worker ants and many more. You will love the reef. The daily meals are Gordon Ramsey quality. They need a Michelin Star asap. Just book this magical place. You wont regret it.

Cocovivo is a wonderful place. The coral reef is outstanding. I never tired of it. At night, the hosts would turn off the lights on the dock and we could swim around and experience the bioluminescence, which was really cool. I stayed in the Snoozy Sloth cabin. It was comfortable and clean. The food was very good, and Ulrich and Melisa were excellent hosts. I also truly enjoyed my time spent with the other guests. All in all, a very enjoyable experience. El lugar es unico, salvaje, 2 mundos en un mismo lugar: la isla llena de vegetacion, selva pura; bajo el mar mucha magia lleno de corales, peces, etc. La atencion de Melina y Luciana es impecable. Cada comida es hecha con mucho cariño. El trato con ellos es excelente. Si te gusta la naturaleza en estado puro, este es el lugar para visitar. Gracias Chicos!

We had an amazing time at CocoVivo. Melisa and Luciano were fantastic hosts, the food was great and the coral reef was the most vibrant we have seen in years. The bioluminessence was an experience out of this world. The cabin is exactly how it is described, there are no frills at CocoVivo, very rustic, but beautiful and peaceful.
