I was traveling with my two young children. When I went to put them to bed the first evening I discovered that the windows to the second bedroom did not latch or lock. Very concerned about safety I contacted the host who told me they would send someone out the next day and that I should lock us all in the master bedroom for safety. We'll bedroom doors did not have a locks either. Needless to say I did not sleep the first night at all. The next day I had to reach out again because there was no communication as promised from host. After getting ahold of the host that afternoon they sent somebody out who put a wooden dowel in the windows. Hopefully they actually fixed the windows after our stay. I requested a refund for our first evening and was told they were only willing to refund me $50. This host Vacasa California does not care about safety or customer service. Poor communication, poor customer service and poor safety for their guests.
