Harry was very earnest about our complaints regarding odors and uncleanliness as we entered. He immediately sent a cleaning person who showed up with a young child in tow (who wandered around spraying scented furniture polish), as we sat and waited for the mom to clean. The mom blamed the condition on other cleaners. She came with only a bag of cloths, sprays, but no vacuum, and after quickly wiping surfaces, spraying scented sprays in the bathrooms, she asked, “All good now?” I had to point out crumbs and clumps of dust and random hairs on the floor, and she said she was sorry she had no Hoover but could come back in the morning. We declined, not wanting to wait for around for her. She changed the worn, rough, and dingy-looking sheets and said they were just old and worn, not dirty, but she’d change them if we’d feel more comfortable. (!) The bathrooms felt and smelled like public toilets, & the urine stench returned after her spraying. New towels delivered with store tags on—unwashed
