Our unique and tranquil home is located in the heart of St Matthews, where restaurants are within walking distance, close shopping & easy access to activities around town. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, smoke free environment, garden patio with chimenea & loungers. The carriage house was built before the 1920’s. It was used by Nanz and Kraft Florist Co. to store their different tools and carts associated with the greenhouses. The Bungalow (main home) was built later by a local architect, who also built the house next door and others in the neighborhood. Both homes are located on the same property with a private fenced in yard. Entrance is separate from the main house with a keyless keypad system to come and go. The carriage house accommodates up to 4 people comfortably with 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, and a complete kitchen area. Guests will have to walk through first bedroom, which is open and readily accessible to the bathroom, to reach second bedroom that is closed off by a door. There is a sitting area in the 2nd bedroom with chair and vanity table with stool to get ready for the day. Both bedrooms have walk in closets and dressers to store/hang clothing. Bathroom has a tub and shower with plenty of room to store and/or layout toiletry bags, etc. Living room sits back off the main area with a surround sound speaker system, TV and stereo. Dining area right off of the kitchen looks out into the yard and patio area, which could also be converted into a nice workspace area for business guests and/or remote workers. Kitchen contains all the necessary equipment to make a meals and/or store bought grocery items. Outdoor patio area offers a place to lounge, start a small fire in chimenea, and relax.
