Just wanted to say the stay here was absolutely worth it. Scenery is incredible. Cabin is great can’t forget about the hot tub! And the hosts are lovely. Can’t wait to go MISSING again!
Celebrated my 45th Birthday here and it was wonderful. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Our location was near the mystical forest and over looked the mountains/hills. Chose one with a hot tub because it was January and it was great after hiking to soak and take in the view. It rained a lot but that didn’t take away from the stay. Falling asleep to the rain was soothing. They have put a lot of work into this place and it shows. Loved exploring and finding all the unique things scattered throughout the property. Explore and you may find something. Request the Bob Ross watercolors package! Feed the mini cows. So much to do. I didn’t want to leave. We both love the Goonies movie. So when my friend asked how my Birthday was I said great! I’m in the boonies being a goonie. Come here to go missing….
Nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Balcones Canyonlands, our stay was nothing short of spectacular! Combining the charm of traditional camping with the comfort of a top-notch hotel, the tents were beautifully furnished and equipped with cozy beds, plush linens, and everything we needed! One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the opportunity to stargaze in a way that's impossible in the city. With minimal light pollution, the night sky came alive with countless twinkling stars. We spent hours sharing stories under the starlit canopy in the hot tub! The site's staff deserves special mention. Their warm welcome and attentiveness added a personal touch. They were always ready to assist with anything we needed, whether it was setting up the grill or providing recommendations for local attractions. If you're seeking a serene escape where you can grill, gaze at the stars, and find relaxation like never before, look no further. We left with our hearts full and minds refreshed!
Oh, where do I even begin? Our glamping experience on this beautiful property was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away with the property, and saw adventure around every corner. The glamping site itself was a true oasis nestled amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the surroundings. The domes were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the comforts one could desire. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the cozy bedding to the beautiful decks with views for miles. The property's location was a dream come true. Surrounded by lush greenery and with panoramic views of nature's wonders, we were treated to a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was the perfect balance of being close to nature while still enjoying modern amenities. The hosts were incredible, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was extraordinary.
We arrived on a day that they unfortunately had lost water to their place. We booked the reservation 2h or so before we got there but was not at all warned about not having water all day until we were 15mins from arrival; so we got stuck waiting for 4.5h for water to come which it never did. We used the bbq grill to eat something while we waited on water to come back but it was not very relaxing since we had to wash everything with bottled water. When we went inside the tent to rest, since it was almost 100F outside with no water to shower, we noticed someone’s old dentures were by the bed. Nasty. At that point we just wanted to leave. Not having water on a very high temperature day is too much coupled with unsanitary conditions. When we tried to get the refund from airbnb we were given so much fuss. The reservation cost was $677 total but we were only refunded just under $550. $125 went towards using their bbq grill I guess? Whoever heard of spending $125 on renting a bbq grill?!

- Lake Marble Falls • 25 min drive
- Lake Travis • 1 hr drive
- Lake LBJ • 35 min drive
The property is 100 acres, and we love having so much beautiful space, but take it from us – it’s easy to get disoriented!
By car: You'll be able to drive your car directly to the designated parking spot. While we can’t allow self-guided driving tours of the entire property for safety reasons, you’ll be able to drive the roads marked on the map provided when you arrive. There is additional signage and strategic landscaping onsite to keep you from any accidental off-roading.
By foot: Try as we might to de-rockify our paths, the Hill Country terrain is persistently rugged. As such, we highly recommend wearing closed toe and comfortable shoes, especially if you dislike stubbed toes and rocks in shoes as much as we do.
