Rachel's harbor rental was absolutely outstanding. My wife and I often rent Airbnbs, and we have yet to find a host as receptive, informative, and helpful as Rachel. The location is perfect—just a short walk to art shops, stunning harbor views, and fantastic restaurants. The neighborhood is warm and welcoming, with locals who go out of their way to be friendly. The property was spotless, and the pictures accurately showed what we found upon arrival. Inside, the furnishings were cozy and inviting. The beds and bedding were especially comfortable, which we appreciated after a long cross-country flight. The views from the front windows were breathtaking, and the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and clean up. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with our stay and hope to return soon. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable, Rachel!

This home is adorable! It feels like you are on a spacious boathouse. I could spend days here reading, writing and relaxing enjoying the beautiful harbor view. The artwork in the home is fantastic! It’s fascinating to learn about the commercial fishing done in the area. There are several beaches within a short drive, and all special in their own way. We traveled with our toddler so the rest of my feedback pertains to that. The rooms have room darkening blinds which is helpful. There are stairs, so bring a tension gate if you don’t want your toddler running up and down the stairs. The home is situated on a busier street but wasn’t too loud. The home is attached to another home so while they are both private, you can smell cooking, hear some crossover noise, see them in the back yard, etc. But that didn’t bother us. More a good to know. Would definitely recommend this home and area for anyone looking for a peaceful and unique getaway. The hosts were so helpful and responsive!

I felt really at home, literally. I lived within 2 mi for most of my life in a very beautiful location. this was a great location on the water with Incredible views. although it had every modern convenience, it retained it's old charm. everything we needed was there. we had guests for dinner several nights. the kitchen had everything and everyone loved the water views! the folks who live next door were wonderful. we had young children playing in the backyard and the neighbor came over with outdoor games for them to play. great enclosed backyard for kids! this was an awesome location and you could walk to Rocky Neck, Eastern Point, the Gloucester Stage Company and Duckworths was across the street. formerly a top restaurant it now had prepared food to go. yummy! we'll be back!
