The Green Maple is the perfect escape! Entirely private cottage with a sandy beach & seclusive boreal forest on the perimeter, this Modern Log Cottage (2023) has stunning sunset views. Enjoy the 620sqft 2-story Pine log cottage with a .5 acre lot & 120ft private lakefront, equipped with: Full kitchen, Spacious roofed deck, BBQ, Ample sleeping space (3 beds & 2 futons), Kayaks, Shower, Eco-friendly incinerating toilet, 50" 4k TV, Starlink internet, heat, woodstove. Linens & Garbage Service incl. The Green Maple Cottage rests on a half-acre private lot surrounded by trees for privacy and has its own sandy beach on 120ft of private lakefront. The cottage is two stories, 620sqft of living space, and equipped with all the modern essentials including a full kitchen, shower, barbecue, two fridges/freezers (as pictured), a 50" Smart TV & Starlink High-Speed Internet. The tall angled space-saving ladder stairs pictured are easy and fun to use for most but may not be suited to people with mobility issues or the elderly. The cottage has 1 queen bed, 2 double/full beds, and 2 double/full futon beds. This allows for comfortable sleeping arrangements for all kinds of sizes of groups. The cottage can accommodate quite a number of people and provides plenty of space to relax in luxury thanks to its roofed deck which views the lake and its stunning views. The cottage is heated by electric baseboard heating in the winter, as well as having a woodstove as a secondary heat source for that cozy feel. Please note, the water in the cottage is lake water. Included in your stay is a 20-litre water jug containing the finest spring water that comes right from the Restoule water spring. I dare you to find better-tasting water! If you need to refill them, the spring is 2 minutes away by car and is always running.

We had a wonderful time at the Green Maple cottage in Restoule; waking up to the serene lake-side view was a wonderful respite from our typical noisy city life. This is a little slice of heaven nestled among some small towns with very friendly people. We miss it already! Josh is an amazing host and it's clear that he puts a lot of thought and consideration into providing a wonderful experience. Throughout our stay, it was obvious that he cared a lot about our comfort and was ready to drop everything when we needed a bit of help with small issues. You will not go wrong staying at Green Maple cottage or, likely, any of Josh's other listings!
Although the weather was less than ideal, Joshua’s cabin was the perfect place to call home for the rainy weekend! Will certainly visit in the future
My stay at Joshua Cottage was absolutely wonderful! The cottage was in pristine condition when I arrived, and I couldn't have been happier with the cleanliness and comfort provided. I'm giving it a solid 5-star rating without hesitation. Joshua went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of perfect. Despite it being our first year with the log cottages in winter, Joshua's attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident throughout my stay. Even when a minor issue arose with the shower, Joshua handled it with grace and efficiency, swiftly resolving the matter without inconveniencing me in the slightest. His dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable. I'm grateful for the opportunity to stay at Joshua Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing retreat. I'll definitely be returning for another visit in the future!"
Joshua’s places in restoule are nothing short of impressive , me and 2 others had an incredible stay at green maple. The place was immaculate when we showed up and the host was very helpful when it came to answering the questions we did have. I would highly recommend staying in one of Joshua’s cabins if you find yourself spending a weekend in Restoule!

Rural Unorganized Restoule offers lots of space and incredible views, but don't think, you are missing out on any services! You are a 3 minute walk from a general store and LCBO with everything you need (Gerry's). A 8 minute walk from a well stocked butcher/fresh food market, ice cream bunkie, and the popular restaurant in town (Buck's). Who says you cant have it all with privacy, luxury, and convenience?
Enjoy easy access to trails! Your cottage finds itself centered within reach of several publicly available, free access, hiking, ATV, and snowmobile trails. In fact, one of Northern Ontario's most popular sledding trails (D102C) is a short 1-minute ride away. Perfect for the outdoors-lover within your family.
You can very conveniently walk to Gerry's general in just 3 minutes for LCBO, gas, souvenirs & general goods and most of your provisions.
Mill Bay Market (Fresh food & Ice Cream), Bucks Grill (Restaurant) , Bud the Spud (Burger Stand), Boards honey farm (Attraction), Post Office, Playground, Mr Minnow (Bait Store) are all mixed distances but are within 5 - 15 minutes depending on your walking speed.
Most anything else will require a vehicle. Parking is rarely an issue.
