This is a cozy, self-contained ground-level guest suite with a bathroom, a bedroom with a queen bed, a living room, and a covered patio outside of the private entrance. The living room is very large. It includes a kitchenette area with a microwave, and a small fridge, and it is stocked with coffee and tea makings. It also includes a bar area with a small electric burner, a portable gas burner, utensils, plates, bowls, etc for making small meals. The highlight of the space is the Ping Pong table. In order to accommodate a fun Ping Pong game, a small seating area with a twin-sized sofa bed (it can accommodate one additional guest when needed), an electric fireplace, and a computer desk with an Aeron chair by Herman Miller are set up so there is plenty of space to move around the Ping Pong table. There is NOT a separate thermostat for the Airbnb space downstairs, as the Airbnb space is part of the central air system. The ground level is generally cooler than the upper level. If the space is too cold for the winter, you can use the electric heater and the electric fireplace. An additional warm wool blankets can be found in the closet in the bedroom. In the summer, the Airbnb space might be damper. Feel free to turn on the dehumidifier if you need it. An additional light wool blanket can be found in the closet in the bedroom if the comforter is too heavy. Please note that you will hear us walking or making noises upstairs. We will be mindful and light with our footsteps and other noises. There will be also be some noises in the guest area from heating/cooling, dishwasher from upstairs, laundry, etc. If you need quietness outside of the quiet hours, please let the hosts know ahead of the time. We are very keen to provide an allergen and chemical-free environment for the guests. The space is pet-free and chemical-free. To improve the indoor air quality of the space, we only use cleaning products that have good environmental scores. In addition, the house and its premises haven't been sprayed with chemicals. While the space and its surroundings are very neat and clean, you might see a few insects such as tiny spiders or ants in the space once in a while. Please also note the back side of the property is next to a woody area and a creek. To not disturb the wildlife, the light pollution in the backyard is kept to a minimum, which means the backyard is fairly dark at night.
