We loved Hee Haw! About 20 minutes to Mountain View and Blanchard Caverns, and 45 minutes to the Buffalo River. Very quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed as a home base. The creek and woods are AWESOME - we easily could have stayed several more days just playing in and exploring the property. Crocketts in Harriet was a GREAT outfitter for a half-day float on the Buffalo - highly recommend! We had lunch afterwards at the Skylark and were blown away by the strawberry pie. We had a fun adventure at Blanchard Caverns w/a chilly-but-worth it swim in the nearby river. We also went on a hour trail ride with Irene at OK Trading Post and loved the Sunday evening music at Jimmy Driftwood's Barn. The Dulcimer Shoppe was fun to visit and spending Saturday afternoon listening to local folks playing music at the park by the ice cream shop was a highlight. We loved the area, the people, and Hee Haw was an awesome place to return to each day. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at the Hee Haw cabin! It was exactly as described and met the cabin feel we were looking for. Cozy, clean, well stocked, and felt right at home. We enjoyed the fire pit and the glow of the outside lights. We even grilled. Sitting on the porch swing with coffee in the morning was breathtaking. and at night when you sit on the swing you can hear the crickets and the creek. Relaxing! We had 2 preteen and 2 teenage kids with us and they loved playing at the creek. We definitely made some wonderful memories and will stay here again.

The cabin was very homey and clean. It had everything we needed. The bed was a little more firm than I like but that is just personal preference. It was so peaceful to sit outside and listen to nature or take a short walk down to the creek. I will definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

The boys loved the creek, had so much fun collecting rocks and sticks. We all enjoyed the cabin, cozy and comfortable.

The Cabin was fantastic! I’ve lived in Mtn View for 25 years and ended up coming here for a short vacation from my traveling job. Me and the wife loved where it was located and the scenery. It was really good to go and sit in the peace and quiet of the woods with the sound of a flowing creek. Definitely worth staying at this cabin.
