Everything about this charming place was perfect! Our business is antiques so Savannah’s design taste of cozy, chic, country made us feel right at home. I personally loved all the painted distressed furniture and my husband loved your antique kitchen cabinet. (You can redecorate my place anytime)😁 The most important part of any stay in my opinion is cleanliness and this place was spotless! I’ve never stayed at a place where I didn’t have to wipe something down. My only complaint would be that we didn’t get to spend enough time there! At some point I will be planning a trip back to enjoy the coziness and explore the old downtown area. I recommend thisAirbnb to anyone and especially any parents of a bride or groom who is getting married at the Hawthorne House. It’s a short distance if you have to go and forth. Another bonus is the hostess lives across the street so if you’d need or have questions she’s very accessible. Savannah you ROCK at being an Airbnb host!!!!

I was in KC visiting family for the Easter weekend. Upon arriving, Savannah’s home was both inviting and charming. There were lovely spring-like decorations noted throughout the space. The home was well-appointed, the beds were comfortable and everything was clean and smelled good. The fenced-in backyard was lovely and perfect for when my daughter visited with her dog (service animal). The home has everything one could need. I had a little trouble finding an iron/board but when I messaged Savannah, she was quick to respond. The location is great (just 1 mile to downtown Parkville) in a nice, quiet neighborhood and within a 15-minute drive to the airport, which was very convenient. The next time I come back to KC, I will definitely try to stay here again, if available.
