Eagle's Nest is a brand new, creek front, Treehouse/Sky Cabin built by my husband. The property is flat, so four wheel drive isn’t needed. The Treehouse is adorned with barn wood rolling doors and other beautiful amenities. It stands 35-40 feet high to the peak and is nestled in the towering tree tops, overlooking beautiful Wayah Creek. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin rental beside the treehouse if you're traveling with family or friends. Please inquire if interested. This is a popular area for hiking, viewing waterfalls, and whitewater rafting, with many vacation homes around you and all along Wayah Creek. There are two flights of stairs in the treehouse so please consider this before booking if you have mobility issues. Quiet hours are at 11:00 pm. The treehouse can accommodate two people. We allow only one dog in the treehouse. It is an extremely, cozy , environment, with barn wood rolling doors, stained tongue and groove ceilings, electric fireplace, stainless steel appliances, two large smart TV’s, Wi-Fi, completely screened in upper level deck, king size bed, Juliet Balcony upstairs overlooking the property and the creek, fire pit, and a hot tub with a dining area underneath the treehouse. Please do not park motorcycles underneath the treehouse. You have to bring a trailer. Please inquire with us before booking about the size of your trailer. Other things to note for motorcycles: we a gravel driveway, no driving in the grass. We have two other properties on site if you are considering a group event. A two bedroom, two bath house, creek front, and a one bedroom rustic cabin. All three have Wi-fi and hot tubs and all are within walking distance to one another. Message us for information. We sell bundled firewood for $8.00/bundle. As you cross the bridge on your way in, you will see a small house to the right, with rocking chairs on the front porch. The firewood is located on the porch facing the creek. Please place cash inside the small antique mailbox on the wall. If you have any questions before booking, please feel free to message us.

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and it was definitely worth it. The treehouse was beautiful and relaxing and exactly what we needed and were expecting. It was very easy to find, everything you need is only about 15 mins away if you need to find food. We tried a few local places while here and were very pleased. Brian and Regina were quick to respond anytime I had a question. We decided to stay an extra day and they were very accommodating. This is definitely a place we would come back to. My favorite places of the treehouse were the hot tub and the screened in balcony upstairs. It was a great place to read and listen to the creek. Thank you Brian and Regina for letting us stay in your place and being accommodating quickly.
Airbnb suggested this place when I was booking for another location. I had not heard of Franklin, NC before that, but let me tell you that this treehouse and this town are sweet gems! The treehouse is in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina where you are close to some great hiking spots in the Nantahala National Forest (Wayah Bald, Rufus Morgan Falls...). It was super clean (a MUST!), cozy, and convenient to the town of Franklin (about 10 minutes away). The bed was comfortable with high quality sheets and perfect pillows. The bathroom had a roomy shower and all we needed. (You do need to provide your own soap, shampoo, etc.) We didn't really use the kitchen, but it seemed to be well stocked with cooking supplies (no condiments, seasonings, etc though so bring your own). I think the screened in porch overlooking the creek was our favorite spot! And don't forget to check out all the great restaurants, shopping, & Smoky Mountain Performing Arts in town - everyone was so friendly! 💕
The cabin was built so well! The doors upstairs by the sleeping loft were the best as one leads to a screened porch and you can open the door and listen to the creek all night it was the best sleep! The other leads to a little balcony that lets the sun in in the morning time. Cozy blankets around made it feel well thought out. We stayed an extra night as we were traveling from NY and Regina was quick to help me secure the cabin one more night at last minutes notice. Wifi worked great for making phone calls etc… grocery store was a pretty 10 minute drive away. All in all a great respite for me and my mom.
We enjoyed our weekend getaway in the Treehouse. It was perfect! Everything you need and a beautiful scenery to enjoy as well. The host were great and super responsive.
We loved this cabin! Just perfect for a New Years weekend retreat for my husband and I! We loved soaking in the hot tub and sitting on the decks listening to the stream and snuggling up by the fireplace. The bed was super comfortable! And loved the proximity to Franklin and the Highlands!

Things to Note: There are many vacation homes along Wayah Creek because this is a highly, desired area for vacationing. There are also many beautiful sites to see in this area and the surrounding area. Please inquire if you have questions before booking.
