First off, Lex is a SUPERHOST! This property was a perfect getaway. It’s the best view of Nantahala Lake. Everything is as pictured. Lovely furniture, awesome pool table, beautiful views, canoe, and cornhole. There is a chiminea on the porch, wood fire inside, and a beautiful fire ring in the back yard overlooking the lake. Lex is also kind enough to offer free wood! It’s beautiful at night there with no light pollution. As you can read from other reviews, I definitely suggest driving a truck, SUV, or something with 4WD. It’s definitely doable, but it is bumpy with some tight curves. One thing I did notice is the front right burner in the stove runs red hot no matter if it’s on HI or LOW, so be mindful of that. The other 3 burners are fine. The jacuzzi is lovely and runs at 101°, which is comfortable and doesn’t get too hot. You can also rent boats at the marina next door and enjoy the cafe. Overall this was a wonderful vacation for my boyfriend and I. Lex was so helpful! Will be back!
