Wonderful stay in Christina’s beautiful house - loved being in a non-touristy spot with warm and friendly locals. The food in the restaurant in the village square was fantastic and an absolute bargain. When we wanted to venture further afield the recommendations from Christina were perfect. Christina is a lovely welcoming host who immediately responded to any questions. She also makes an amazing homemade jam - thank you for that indulgence, it was delicious! One tip - the map link on the Airbnb app took us to the wrong place but as soon as we typed the correct place name into our map app it was really simple. We hope to return another year, thank you so much Christina for letting us stay in your beautiful home

Nous avons passé un formidable moment entre amis dans la maison de Christina, qui a toujours été réactive et très sympathique. La maison est superbe, parfaitement équipée, avec une belle vue sur les vignes et une atmosphère très paisible. La piscine est un bonus non négligeable en temps de grandes chaleurs estivales. Dafnes est un village agréable avec de bons restaurants. On ne met que 25 min à rejoindre Heraklion ou l'aéroport, on est aussi rapidement à Matala. Il y a une place de parking attitrée à la maison et on se gare facilement dans la rue si on a 2 voitures. nous reviendrions avec plaisir loger chez Christina

Very good family house. Great view, lovely pool and great cooking facilities. Christina was very quick with reaponding on messages and questions. Neigbours are very friendly. Bakery and supermarket at walking distance.

We enjoyed Christina's house as a family with 3 kids. The house was really nice and we would definitively recommend it. The village of Dafnes is really authentic and the people there were really nice. Really perfect holiday break!

A stunning villa and a wonderful host. Location is perfect for getting around this part of Crete, the village felt safe and the views and pool were lovely. Another review noted hiring a smaller car. We managed to fit a VW Caddy on the driveway but it was very tight so after a few nights we just parked around the corner. Use the exit just after the Shell Garage on the right of the main road for the easiest access to the villa.
