Check in was super easy. While the driveway might be a little dicey when weather is challenging, just go slow! It’ll be fine. Pay attention to the directions to only use one water source and pressure is fine. Absolutely beautiful sunsets on Moss Lake! Thank you!

This was a nice little home tucked away right up on the lake with no neighbors in sight. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect for us. There were little things here and there like the water pressure is quite low which wasn’t a big deal to us and the trim work looked like it was still being worked on in some places but all in all, it was a great little place for our long weekend. Lucas was great and easy to communicate with. We would happily stay here again. Also, the driveway is quite steep and narrow. My 4x4 truck had no issues but if you have a small car, you might consider parking at the top and walking down if it’s rainy.

Overall the stay was more expensive than it should have been. We were shocked at the lack of water, especially hot water. The driveway was slightly difficult to get through. The doors not having locks, other than the keypad, was concerning being in the middle of the woods.

Loved the location - right off the water and being able to bring our dog. We had a great couple days kayaking and visiting the towns near by!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucas’s Quiet Lakeside Sunset Retreat. My wife and I were looking for a place we could bring our dog that allowed us all to be outside and enjoy nature and all that the surrounding area had to offer. The place was well located and close enough to some larger roads that it was both easy to find and easy to make our way around the U.P. The host was quick to answer questions we had about the property. It was easy to get in with the key code when we arrived. The inside of the property was clean and had all the appliances needed for a longer stay plus a grill. Lucas also made kayaks and a fire pit (with fire wood) available to use. We didn’t swim in the lake, but it was wonderful to sit on the deck and look out at it and the sunsets over it at night were beautiful (a little buggy at night, but to be expected. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to those looking to get away in a peaceful place.
