Beautiful period home which we found to be comfortable & well equipped with everything that we needed. Great location within walking distance of city centre & lovely walks down the canal. Hosts live next door & were friendly but unobtrusive. The street has permit parking so you can’t always get a spot near to the house but once you are parked all shops etc are easily within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay & would recommend.

A much needed catch up with too-long neglected friends and the ideal location for it. Huge house, beautifully furnished and equipped with great little quirks you might find out yourselves.

I was so looking forward to this return visit, bringing 2 new friends with me. I knew they would enjoy the house. It is so well equipped, this time we managed to eat in each night, no need to go out and so handy for the shops. A meal in dinning room felt so special. Anke is always so helpful in responding to enquiries. The house is really near the venue where our event was being held. I look forward to returning next time I am in Lancaster
