The house is really beautiful and has got anything you need. It's surrounded by deer and lots of birds and delivers short access to all the stunning places in Assynt. Ardvreck Castle for instance is just 15-20 minutes walk so as if in my case you see a beautiful sunset just walk there and avoid the crowds. Thank you Jane!

The cottage was lovely and perfect for us and our dogs. Every thing you’d need for a home from home stay. The location is stunning and an excellent base to explore both the mountains and coastline of the area. Would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere with things and/or wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding landscape

Superb location very close to Ardvreck Castle. Jane even messaged to say when the northern lights were visible!

Jane was extremely responsive and had prepared the house immaculately. One of the best equipped Air BnB properties that I've come across. And, provided the weather is kind, you'll not lack for some great hikes.

Wonderful location between mountains and river. Nice spot to visit NC500 route (we covered as much as we could). Sutherland route is a must go and best part of NC500. Caithness route is good but a bit too far (we still did that too). House is nicely organised for all your needs and very clean. Huge dinning table was best part as we were 8. Only drawback were midges due to dry weather on somedays but it is not in your control, so keep fingers crossed it stays windy everyday of your visit 😃. Overall a very peaceful and fun filled week in highlands. Thank you Jane for helping with this lifelong memorable visit.
