The stay at the cottage was good. There is a beautiful walk very next to the car park. It was a different experience to see the horses, chicken and cows . There is cafe at the cottage and also you get fresh eggs in the shop in the property. The only downside was the shower not working in the bathroom and also the water sort of clogged in the bath tub took a lot of time for the water to drain. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was also not working. The kitchen had the bare minimum items , there was no chopping board also.
Great accommodation , nice to see the horses as you come in and the cows through the window.
This little cottage above the horse looking at the cows was a beautiful peaceful place to be. It was quiet and clean.
Accommodation adequate for me and a friend to use as a base for walking. Perhaps not ideal for a family or couple. I.e. TV but with no internet/ WIFI making it's being there largely pointless. It's a new airbnb but could do with a few essentials like a dish towel or oven gloves. Very little in the way of plug sockets. Water pressure in the shower was quite low which would probably affect some people. Not the best value for money but location was good and it was a nice setting being amongst the farm. With a few improvements would be a great place to stay.
Great location, helpful hosts ….cottage ok for a couple of nights. Very peaceful, lovely walks, great Wagyu food van on site so you can sit outside and enjoy food and a beer. The cottage was comfortable but no WiFi as advised so TV not accessible unless you connected to your phone and used your own data so not ideal. The shower was from mixer taps, not much pressure and hard to regulate would benefit from an electric shower unit. The mattress in the main bedroom although comfortable was terribly stained but a protector was provided on request. A chopping board in the property is also needed to prevent damage to worktops. Overall I considered our stay of 11 nights not great value for money.
