John的乡村别墅周边风景优美,我们特别喜欢房子一楼的客厅和厨房，每个客厅都有燃烧木炭的壁炉，这在湿冷的冬季非常重要，厨房的厨具一流，餐具非常齐全，我们在次度过了愉快的2晚，特别要感谢John的妈妈，在我们到达的当晚过来介绍各种设施的使用，还要感谢晚上我们导航找不到民宿时，为我们领路的当地小伙。我会推荐John的民宿给我的朋友们。

Incredible house and lovely hosts, I wish our stay was longer! Only a short scenic walk to the centre of Wortley, I would definitely recommend staying here and I hope to come back with the family for a long weekend. The garden is absolutely beautiful in the sun!

We had a lovely long weekend visit with 9 people across 3 generations. The house is grand on the outside and cosy and homely on the inside. It felt special to stay in a home of local significance. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds extremely comfortable. The house has all the listed amenities and is in good working order. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, right next to the river Don and so peaceful. We were tickled to find the garden seemed to have a resident pheasant! We visited the Top Forge, just across the road, whose Manager would have lived in the house we were staying in. Fascinating to hear about this local iron industry from friendly and knowledgeable guides. There’s not much around the house, so you do need a car, but shops, takeaways and restaurants are just a 10 minute drive.
