One of the best places we visited. Great location to relax and explore nature. The lodge was secluded and had everything we needed.Spottless clean. Comfortable beds with good quality bed linen. The homely touches like baked bread,lemon drizzle cake and marmalade made us feel welcome and at home. Louise and her husband thought through of every detail to make the lodge a great experience. There was a place to wash and dry our dog.Always appreciated. We enjoyed the nature. Beautiful countryside. We did not even have to go out of the lodge to observe all the variety of animals such as birds,red squirrels and pheasants 😀 Prompt response from Louise at all time. Fantastic stay! We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cedar Lodge. The location was very peaceful and tranquil due to the cabins unique setting away from everyday hustle and bustle. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous, and included all amenities we could possibly need. Louise left us a beautifully baked cake and loaf of bread alongside some marmalade, milk and the standard coffee tea and sugar. We would highly recommend booking a stay at this beautiful cabin!

We enjoyed a very tranquil and relaxing break in our 'Cabin in the woods'. Every day we were lucky to see pheasants, red squirrel and many small finches and other garden birds. The cabin was in superb condition with all the amenities we needed, including perfectly usable WiFi. Lots of local villages to explore and only a 30 min drive to the Lakes. What more could you want!

Our stay was amazing, the cabin was fantastic. It was so peaceful and private. It is an amazing place for dogs to go. The cabin was incredibly clean. The cake Louise left us was fantastic. Thank you. Very very highly recommended Owynn.
