Theresa and Chris, the hosts, were exceptionally nice and helpful. They were both very attentive. I felt at home and enjoyed the little trailer very much. It had most everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. The private yard was especially nice and a great place to relax. And the bed was very comfortable. The area, among the Humboldt Redwoods, is absolutely beautiful! The trailer was just a few moments drive from the Visitor Center and was perfectly situated for day trips to different sites in the Redwoods, as well as other places like the Lost Coast and the quaint town of Ferndale. Thank you, Theresa and Chris (and Lila!), for a wonderful week. I hope that we will meet again.

Theresa's place was such a beautiful stay for us during our road trip! From the moment we arrived, we could tell a lot of heart and soul was poured into the space: fresh produce for us next to her local recommendations binder, handwritten notes all over on how the camper works (which I needed!), and lights and outlets all over the space so we could get our ideal reading set-ups. Theresa was also very kind, making sure the lights were on for our late arrival, and making sure we had what we needed while we were there. We ended up checking out the Rohner Park in Fortuna for our dog, as well as the Rockefeller Loop Trail for ourselves. If you're thinking of making the trek, just be aware that quite a lot of the trails in this area are NOT dog friendly! We learned that thanks to one of the brochures Theresa left for us. Rohner Park ended up being one of the few exceptions (the trail is sneakily hidden behind the skating rink).

A cozy RV and delightful hosts. Great place to stay if you need a place to crash while exploring Avenue of the Giants.

Great central spot. A short drive to the Avenue of the Giants and about a half hour from Ferndale.

Great location for Avenue of the Giants. The bed was super comfy and the location was very peaceful. Theresa was a great host, she provided fresh produce from her garden and was helpful with details of the area. There were a few movies to choose from to wind down the day. Internet and cell service was a little spotty for me, which is to be expected. Plan ahead so you don’t need to rely on service to navigate. I woks stay here again if I was paying through!
