A gorgeous, minimal, airy cabin in a beautiful location. It was a real treat to be in a cabin on the water and to take in life on the broads from there, watching the boats and birdlife. The cabin is spacious with a great bathroom with big shower and bath and comfy bed. It would be nice if there was more equipment in the kitchen which is a bit limited if you are a big cook and guests should bring their own films as flagged by the owners. We loved hiring a boat and exploring the broads that way, and it was very easy to do. Great base for exploring further afield also, such as seeing the seals at Horsey Gap or going for lunch at The Gunton Arms. Highly recommend a stay at this special place.

Lovely quiet location on the River Thurne. We loved the ease of access to the river and kayaked every day. The decking and large lawn made a a great spot for relaxing, eating al fresco and watching the boats go by. The cabin has a wonderful bathroom and shower and the living room is spacious. The bedrooms are well equipped with lights storage etc. but both rooms are on the small side.
A wonderful place to escape and relax for a few days! The cabin is just as nice as in the photos, really clean and comfortable and beautifully designed. It was a special experience to stay so close to the water. Fiona was a fantastic host who made us feel really welcome - thank you!
We had such a wonderful, peaceful stay at the Water Cabin. A special tranquil haven - we could really switch off and relax, watching the world go by. We paddle boarded early in the morning, had some lovely walks, beach visits…perfect stay. Fiona and Bobby couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly - thank you so much for your generosity. Your cabin is just stunning- so beautifully fitted out simply and comfortable - lots of lovely little extras to make it a special stay. Thank you so much, both xx
