Christine’s place was so lovely and cosy! Felt like a home from home. The location is lovely, such a beautiful wee village with community spirit! The wee community shop and cafe is right next to riverview cottage and everyone is so friendly and welcoming! Christine is a wonderful host, so very helpful to us when our ferry got cancelled due to storms, giving us an amazingly generous deal which we were so grateful for. This reminded us the importance of booking with someone local, who are willing to look after their visitors rather than booking through a company like our previous place. We cannot wait to return to Lewis and will book up again at Riverview with Christine without a doubt! If you’re thinking of booking this property, do it!! You will not be disappointed.

Christine's cosy place was ideal for our needs. The beds were comfier than our own beds back home. Kitchen had everything we needed Christine was quick to respond and helpful when our ferry plans were altered. We will gladly recommend to others.

Loved staying at Christine's place. It was really comfortable, modern and clean - honestly we wish we could have stayed a few days longer. There is a cute community market just a couple minutes' walk away and the location was a great base from which to explore. Not many restaurants nearby, but we didn't really mind at all, and made some small meals for ourselves. Before and during our stay, Christine was very responsive and even reached out when it looked like our ferry might be delayed on Saturday. That was greatly appreciated and I don't think we would have been as 'on the ball' had she not messaged. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The place is great for a family. plenty of space. Shop close by. just to remember that Sundays is everything closed.
