Gail and David were excellent! They had lots of helpful suggestions to make our stay great! It was so nice to be able to watch the total solar eclipse in the area with their help! We will definitely be going back in the summer to hike in Baxter State Park.
I’ve stayed with Gail and Kristyn a few times. They rock and always have a good space to stay before a trip into the 100 mile wilderness. I live the fact that they keep the place clean and provide plenty of breakfast fixings for you.
great location if folks are planning to climb Katahdin!
We felt right at home. Gail was very helpful in helping us plan our stay before and after our days on Mount Katahdin. We were so close to all we needed in town. In Louisiana we have a word for what she provided, “Lagniappe” is Acadian/ S Louisiana saying for just that :“ more of a good thing” .
Very comfortable , easy walk to town for all we needed.Gail is a great host.
