Typical older Outer Banks home with some wear and tear. Best part was the Hot Tub. It was clean and great views from it, very relaxing. When we arrived we turned up the temperature so it was warm enough in time. Upstairs shower hardly gets warm tho and water pressure is really low. We stayed here for just a few days, sound access is great and was good for the smaller kiddos.

Overall a great home. Only issue is there was no hot water in the master upstairs bathroom or one of the downstair bathrooms. Also Vacasa messed up the lock upon check in and then disconnected the code in error a day before check out but not a property problem. View was fantastic and hot tub was great however the outside faucet was broken and wouldn’t shut off but we were able to tighten the screw and turn it off. Would stay here again though.

Island Mist was a lovely house to stay in for the weekend on a private cul-de-sac. It wasn't far from bars and restaurants. We came off season, so we were limited in what we could do, and there was a storm while we were there. The water from the sound flooded the area a bit so I had to move my car to high ground, which was kinda sketchy but expected in that area. My only disappointment with the house was that the water in the showers did not get very hot, nor was the hot tub able to get very hot. There were extra pillows with no cases and not much in the way of extra blankets. Otherwise, no complaints, we had a lovely time and they were very responsive to my questions both via text and the AirBnB app.

We loved our stay here. It was exactly as we expected from the pictures and description. The house is right on the sound and just a short walk to the ocean. It was great for windsurfing and a short walk for rentals. We would love to stay here again.
