This place is all about great value for location! Seems like an older home, with many quirks, so if that's a problem this is not for you. Plenty of space for a group, basic areas clean, but hard to reach areas are pretty dusty and when shut up house definitely had an odor. Has difficult windows to open, many damaged or missing screens so we were glad it wasn't bug season. Also, older rattling doors and vents with high winds during our stay. Some kitchen items like flatware were fine, stained plastic bowls, not so much. A large group planning to eat all meals there may find that challenging with what's provided. Overall, would stay again, as nothing better than the deck chairs to take in the ocean all day long! Was my second week at this house in last 2 years.

The listing accurately described the listing- easy access, beautiful surroundings, and more than enough space for my family of four. Location is pretty much in a small beach town, so not a ton to do if you’re not outdoorsy-beach people. Some necessary amenities were in short supply which was unexpected in a home advertised to house up to 12 guests, but was manageable. Any maintenance issues were addressed personally by Vacasa within the hour.

I needed a place to relax, and this was the perfect spot. It was windy, but peaceful. I loved the stereo and the view of the ocean. It’s a great location Between nags head with hiking and lighthouses and Kitty Hawk for historical fun. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was the off-season, so most places were closed. We made breakfast and dinners every night. Definitely recommend for time with family and r&r. The hot tub with a view of the ocean was the best part.

Sadly, this is the first time we’ve experienced a very bad time in OBX. The place has a beautiful location, without a doubt. Right on the beach. The house itself was less than desirable. The kitchen wasn’t stocked at all. One tea kettle that was warped and very few mugs for use. All the pots and pans and dishes had to be rewashed when we got there. The showers were awful. Zero water pressure and very hard water. First day there our sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain but maintenance came a fixed it. The house only had one smart tv and all other rooms weren’t hooked up that way. The living area was smaller than we thought. windows were not sealed. The freezing air came through and we had to stuff towels - still didn’t warm up above 62°. When we got there the oven didn’t work and we were told someone would come - no one ever did and we were given a toaster over as a replacement. I would not go back to this place. Vacasa is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Will never use again!
