Lovely accommodation, perfect for anyone intending to go up Scarfel Pike. Next door to a local pub with lovely food and a good selection of gins! Beautiful scenery, nice and tranquil. I would recommend it.

Great accommodation for 7 people, with a good pub right next door! Friendly and responsive host on site (at the pub) Very helpful with having a charging point for my EV.

Awesome place just beside Hardknott. Perfect for bagging scafell etc. and a great location. Food at the pub is good but also a perfectly usable kitchen if self catering. 100% recommend

Beautiful place, perfect for what we wanted. A peaceful location away from it all. We took our parents & teenagers away for Christmas & they let us go & decorate before our check in. The owner was very responsive with any issues that we had with heating/hot water & sorted it straight away. Place as described. On checkout, we did feel a bit rushed - it was torrential rain & we worked as fast as possible to empty all our belongings & get our parents (one disabled & one immobile) into the vehicles. We were out at 11.07am (checkout time said 11am) the owner was waiting outside asking how long we were going to be from about 10am ! That was the only negative from the whole stay
