Casey called us the night before we were going to arrive to check in. The original units we booked will not be available due to a water leak from the rain (both upstairs and downstairs unit). They had offered us their other properties instead. We started to panic since we are in town for my brother in laws wedding. We arrived at the first unit, it was clean and close to everything. However, the original reservation has 2 parking spots available for us but this 3 unit has only 1 parking space. Being in Mission Beach, parking is tough. Either you will have to keep moving your car every 2 hours or pay $100+ for a day or walk far to find a free parking spot. It was stressful with the parking as my mother in law could not walk far and need a walker to get around and we have a lot of stuff with us to prepare for the wedding so unloading & loading is a bit of a challenge. They were not flexible when we asked to check-in early with the other units we rented. Check-out time is early-10am.

This Airbnb is perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. The beach is beautiful and close to the house. Having two houses was also really nice and perfect for sleeping arrangements. Will definitely book again if I have another weekend in San Diego.

Our stay was great! Check in and check out were easy with no extraneous steps. There were lots of towels and beach gear!

All 12 of us had a great time at this Airbnb. Plenty of space to sleep and hang out around the house. The host provided essentially everything we needed including plenty of towels, beach amenities, housewares, cooking equipment, cleaning tools, and video entertainment! Very walkable with plenty food variety to choose from. Right between Mission Bay and PB, you have your options! The hosts are very responsive and provides every detail you'll need to enjoy your stay. The only improvements I can think of is somehow making the right house cooler during the summer. Since the sun directly hits the windows, it can get pretty warm even with the AC on, but private outdoor patio and the left house will keep you cool since it doesn't hit the windows directly. Aside from that, you'll have everything at your fingertips, responsive hosts, and plenty of space to make it a relaxing trip!
