Very comfortable accommodations, great bed and very quiet. Beth is an amazing hostess who is very knowledgeable about the area and local history. Her rustic creations are everywhere creating an amazing space to recharge.

I felt right at home at Beth’s and so enjoyed getting to know her. Her place is absolutely gorgeous and her talent for every last detail blows my mind. Every where you look there is a bit of magic. She’s so welcoming and her place was comfortable, clean, and whimsical. I loved visiting the animals and just learning about the area from her as well. Amazing time and we hope to go back sooner than later.

Beth is someone you should meet just because she’s a pure spirit. They don’t make people like her anymore lol. She’s amazing and offers a truly peace filled experience and atmosphere. It took me 7 years to make it back, but it won’t again!

We were looking for a place to decompress, relax & reconnect. This is the perfect place. Beth is a wonderful lady and made us feel right at home. The animals were excited to see us and we were welcomed by them, as well. There are many things to do in the Glenwood area but we didn’t want to leave the property. The outdoor living space & kitchen was very quaint. And the cabin is beautiful. There are a couple different rental spots and they all look cozy and relaxing. Beth is also an artist and she has a beautiful art gallery. I wanted to go back in before we left but actually just forgot. If you are outdoorsy and love animals, we highly recommend Beth’s place!

自我介绍

I am a working artist of many mediums; ceramics, copper, painting, collage, et al and proprietor of Behr Art B&B. Alongside this work, I design spaces and events, host workshops, markets, annual festivals, officiate weddings, and make my ever-morphing property available for others to share and enjoy. To that, I've spent nearly every day designing, decorating, reconstructing, reconfiguring and reworking this historic property, farm and gardens. The structures I've built and designed that are available for your retreat include the Cozy Cabin, The Carrot Cottage, the Luscious Lotus, the Pond Hut and the Hummingbird Haven. The Cabin was once a bunkhouse. The previous owners moved it (rolled it on logs) to its present location. In doing so, the floor joists needed to be reattached and a foundation was constructed to stabilize the building. My brother and I cut, fitted, mudded, tied, nailed, plumbed, electrified and created a marvelous space. My land is a working art studio, organic farm and orchard, with ponds, shade trees, peace, quiet and some of the darkest skies for star gazing in the nation. My backstory: A Connecticut native, I moved to Silver City/Pinos Altos New Mexico in 1970 and then to Glenwood in 1982. For twenty-two of those years, I lived on a ranch with a herd of horses and two donkeys, and my passion was endurance riding. After thousands of training hours, competitive miles, and sponsoring the Scorpion Sting Endurance Ride, I gave it up for the life I now live on this land.
