This was our return to this property. Was worth the return. Cabin was spotless and had everything needed as far as utensils, linens. towels etc. The property is very private and quiet. Lots of areas to hike, and boats and fishing tackle for the lake. Restaurants and activities in nearby towns are worth the short drives. Thanks to the host and we would recommend this property to all who want to get away without (really) roughing it.
Great secluded cabin surrounded by trees that's just a hop from the shoreline with plenty of boating options. The cabin is well stocked and my time there was was very relaxing with no issues.
The house needs a deep cleaning and was very cluttered. The single toilet was broken, causing the water to constantly run. The smoke detector mounted on the ceiling in the first floor bedroom had no battery (clearly visible). Used soap bars were left on the tub and bathroom sink (very unsanitary).
Lovely cabin nestled in the woods. Just as described.
Nice place! It rained during our stay, and the biggest downside is there isn’t a lot to do if you get unlucky with weather!
