It was the perfect peaceful getaway for the weekend. Lovely setting, great amenities and a fabulous pub just over a mile away. Great to have the animals around as well! Would absolutely recommend!

Matt’s place was super cosy and had everything we needed. We loved being around the farm animals, watching the runner ducks, and saying hello to Maggie the goat each morning. We paid extra for the hot tub which we really enjoyed. Would recommend having a car so you can get around easily.

We had a lovely stay, the farm was lovely and the kids really enjoyed catching fish in the pond, feeding the animals and the hot tub. Peaceful location, friendly farmer on site who was super helpful and gave the kids a little tour and fresh eggs from the chickens. The accommodation was well equipped with everything you needed.

My girlfriends and I wanted a wholesome weekend in the middle of nowhere and that’s exactly what we experienced, the Milkhouse is spacious, warming and homely, clean and has many amenities. We spent time stroking the horses and speaking to the horse keepers and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. We wished we could have taken Maggie the goat home with us. We went for long walks and sat round the firepit, inside there’s a fireplace too and was great when we were playing games. Only a 10min drive to local shops for food but feel one with nature in this beautiful peaceful location. VERY GOOD value for money and we will be returning, thank you Matthew for having us 🥰
