Excellent accommodations! Accurately described. Stocked with assortment of breakfast items (gourmet coffee & teas, milk, cereals, yogurts, granola, muffins, pancake mix, fruit, & more); everything needed to prepare & cook meals & live comfortably. What’s not mentioned is expect warm hospitality, abundant generosity, and great kindness (Thank You Mary & Kenny). I was introduced to “locals,” & made to feel like one, & was included in many exciting activities (hiking, discussions, dinners, lunches, b-day celebrations, & invited for desserts & cocktails!). Wake up to chirping, singing birds, see dear grazing in the afternoon from your porch, & star gaze before sleep. Remote, quiet, private, surrounded by inspiring mountains, forest & exceptional hiking trails. Highly recommend. The best place I’ve ever stayed away from home. “I will return” & soon.

Mary's place is wonderfully private and quiet. The house is well-appointed, spotless and very well-maintained. At night you can see every star. Mary had breakfast treats, milk and fresh fruit waiting for me upon check-in, and there were ample linens and towels. The couch is comfortable and the front porch is a nice place to sit and read. There are good hiking trails nearby, and City of Rocks State Park is about 45 minutes away. I didn't find the internet/wifi to be very consistent and there is very little to no cell service, which I found challenging at times. But if you are looking to unplug, this is your perfect place.

Mary's place is so great! Clean, cute, lots of nice touches with hospitality, great communication. And I loved the location, being able to sit on the porch drinking my coffee every morning and look at the mountains, plenty of land for my dog to roam. I will definitely be back.
