Plenty space in this 50s/60s style home. Reminded me of the home I grew up in. Even had Bakelite door handles. It has a drive so you can park off road, though it’s a tight fit if you have a big car. Inside is clean and tidy without any fuss and frills. It has lots of storage space, and was nice and warm though it was freezing cold when we visited. The only minor moan is that the loo room is tiny, with no wash basin. But then the bathroom is right next to it. It is easy to walk into the village centre where there are two smart eating pubs, and two good value pubs all in walking distance. Not much in the way of shops, but a handy Cooperative. Just few miles to Sheffield centre, or into the Peaks and places like Hathersage, Owl tor, or Castletown.

A lovely warm and comfortable house, with a quirky 50’s vibe. It had everything we needed for our stay, with good size bedrooms, parking and a huge garden. Great location on a quiet street, but just a couple of minutes walk to the local shops, cafes and pubs, and on the edge of the Peak District. Julie was quick to respond to us, and kindly left us milk so we could have a cuppa on arrival, after a long journey. Great place to stay for visiting our family in the area.

A lovely cosy house in a great location, great for families. The house is a three bedroom detached and all of the rooms are a good size. The kitchen is well stocked will all essentials for nights in. The kids loved the huge garden and summer house. I would definitely recommend Julie's place to anyone.

We had a lovely stay. Found the surroundings very peaceful and very close to get into Sheffield.

Julie was very helpful and friendly. The house is lovely and welcoming. The area is very quiet and on the edge of the Peak District yet close to Sheffield.
