Our family of 7 had a wonderful time in Volga! We enjoyed exploring nearby attractions and returning to a peaceful home to unwind, relax, and rest. Chris and Kathleen's place had all the comforts of home. There was plenty of room for our family to hang out together and spread out a little. We packed picnics for outings and cooked our meals, saving us a lot of $. Having access to the washer and dryer saved us packing up loads of dirty laundry to take home! We brought a pack of tide pods along, and it made laundry so simple for the week. The home features some beautiful antique pieces and collectibles that rekindled fond memories of my grandparents. We spent a couple of mornings relaxing on the deck and an evening enjoying s'mores around the fire pit out back. We got to experience Strawberry Days in nearby Strawberry Point as well as Backbone State Park and Big Spring Fish Hatchery. After fishing, we enjoyed fresh trout and bass. I would definitely recommend Chris and Kathleen's place!
