Our second trip. If I could, I'd bring my family here once a season. The farm and surrounding area are beautiful. There have been a few 4-legged additions roaming the farm; we particularly enjoyed the two new pigs who delighted in the apples that John and Andrea regularly shook from the tree in the yard. Andrea and John are warm people who work hard to create a peaceful sanctuary for critters and all who are fortunate enough to be in their company.

We got five star farm experience and a vivid science class from John as a bonus. Best vacation ever! A bunch of thanks to Andrea and John! We will be back. :):):)

I don't even know where to start, Andrea & John don't ever treat you like a renter... they treat you like a friend or family. They're such caring, & genuine hosts & are absolutely incredible at making you feel warm & welcome. It was therapeutic for us all but especially for my 15 yr old daughter who struggles with extreme anxiety, she totally came out of her shell and smiled and totally enjoyed herself. Being around all the animals was such a blessing, and John & Andrea went above & beyond to ensure she felt useful and important & accepted Having her and my niece help with tending to the animals, learning about the Bees, and taking us for a ride on their side by side sharing the hidden beach with us. We all enjoyed the fires John made for us and the family fun yard games they provided not to mention the refreshing dip in the pool. The delicious honey they gave us was a huge hit, and we truly enjoyed sitting and chatting with them, it was hard to leave but we will be back again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Firefly Ridge. The property is beautiful, and Andrea and John were incredible hosts making us feel welcome from the moment we pulled into the driveway. We loved visiting with the animals and my son jumped at the chance to help with the daily chores. John and Andrea are very warm, kind, and generous with their time and with sharing their enthusiasm for farm life. Looking forward to visiting again!
