Relaxing space, peaceful yard, extremely responsive/helpful hosts! We would absolutely stay again and recommend to others. Thanks for hosting our mini family reunion!

Terrific house for a large group on the Lake Champlain Islands. Private beach (across the street), great well-equipped kitchen, large clean rooms, you can watch the sunset from the screened in porch. If any criticism, it isn't Marc or his place. It is the Lake Champlain Islands. Great if you are looking for a place to be with family and friends and not go any where. But don't expect to find decent restaurants, cafes, or shopping. Limited walking opportunities. Biking is good, but after a few trips up and down the Islands, not much more to see. Highlights of what we did was off the Island--Montreal, Burlington, and don't miss St. Albans. Only 30 minutes away and has everything that Alburgh and the Islands don't.

Rustic, charming and spacious farmhouse with loads of character and stellar lake views (especially from the private beach and amazing front porch - sunset!!!). Families with young children should be cautious as the house and beach are separated by a semi-busy road with fast vehicles. Grand Isle County has tons of easy walking trails (we did a different one each day) and limited, but a variety of food options (Pea Soup Kitty, Hero's Welcome, Devyns Creemee Stand, Harborside Harvest Market, Kraemer & Kin, and many farms stands (Sandy Bottom Farm and Savage Gardens were our favorites)).

This was the beautiful lake house we were hoping for! This farmhouse was unbelievably charming, welcoming and outfitted. The hosts were excellent and in contact as needed for anything that arose. We loved the swimming, the porches, cooking and fires. Thank you for a gorgeous week in Alburgh!

We had a perfect summer stay. The waterfront is as promised - rocky shoreline giving way to sandy lake bottom, a good-sized beach area with plenty of seating, and a dock and swim platform to enjoy. We also had access to a variety of watercraft which was great. The house is a nice mix of old and newer details. The weather was quite warm, so we certainly appreciated the modern ceiling fans, and the kitchen is well supplied for feeding a good-sized group. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, large screened porch, and the ping pong table. The back yard also provides lots of space to spread out and play. The owner was attentive and available to answer questions. They checked in via text message a few times and left us some good suggestions for local highlights. We’d happily return for another visit.
