Charming home close to Midland! Derek and Sandra were wonderful hosts and extremely responsive from the start. The crystal clear water and outdoor setup was perfect. The home itself was even better than photos and the king bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Thank you and we will definitely be returning!

Overall, it was a beautiful cottage with great views, but there were a few things that didn't quite work for us. Unfortunately, we couldn't access the firewood because it was locked up, and the hosts mentioned that we could purchase firewood at our own expense. This would have been a great service to provide for those staying only a few nights, as purchasing a large bag of firewood would not get used up in 2 days. There was also the garbage policy was a bit of a hassle. We had to take all our garbage with us if we stayed for less than a week, but there weren't any recommendations on where to dispose of it nearby. On the bright side, the location was nice and we still had a good time.

Had an amazing time at Derek and Sandra's cottage! It was very clean and cozy. Felt right at home from the moment we got there. Derek and Sandra were great hosts and they were very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for having us!

This is a lovely property in a great area of Ontario. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and very recently renovated (very well done!). Derek and Sandra keep the place in immaculate condition and there is a feeling of privacy in every space and throughout the back yard to the water. Treat yourself to a campfire at the shore as the dark takes over the day - you won't regret it.

Great cottage with a nice view on the lake ! Close to lots of park and hiking trails , very nice to stay few days. Kitchen has everything you need to cook.
