The Barn was exactly as pictured, very comfortable. Decor and furnishings/artwork absolutely beautiful. Cosy and warm. Lisa was very responsive and we were celebrating our birthdays and Lisa acknowledged this, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend.

We had a lovely weekend staying at The Barn. It’s beautifully decorated, and so cosy! We wanted a location that was quiet and this had a great mix as it’s about 20 mins outside of York, but we were also able to walk to the local pub for dinner (take a torch!). The place itself is exactly like the photos, and Lisa had left us a welcome pack and the heating on, as well as logs for the fire, so we were all set! The kitchen is fine for a cheeseboard in the evening, but there is nothing to cook with and few utensils / cutlery so something to keep in mind. We got the bus to and from York and it was really easy. Lisa also lists loads of places and shops to look around in her guide, which was great! The art in The Barn is also fab. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed at the Barn to be close to family at Xmas. Lovely place with comfortable sofa and bed. Good central heating. Log burner ready to use if we needed to. Thankyou. We will return

Lisa’s barn is beautiful, the decor is fantastic with many thoughtful touches. The log burner was a highlight on a cold weekend. The location was perfect for getting in and out of York without staying in the bustle of the city. The kitchen space is very basic with few amenities- but there are lovely places to eat nearby

Gorgeous barn with amazing interiors. Was super cosy and comfy. Loved the log burner! This was a perfect spot just outside the city of York. Idea for a weekend break with a friend. Would love to return!
