Beautiful property in a great location - perfectly situated for some lovely walks. The lounge and dining area are both spacious, comfortably seating 10 people. Communication before and during our stay was outstanding. Whilst generally well equipped, the kitchen lacks pans, trays and serving dishes suitable for 10 people - something to consider if you’re planning a big cook up! If you’re sensitive to light in the mornings, I’d recommend taking eye masks as the bedroom curtains aren’t blackouts.

Beautiful cottage with plenty of space for the 10 of us. The house was super clean and had everything! The house backed on to the Monsal trail so perfect location for us to walk to Bakewell and back to explore. Close drive to Bakewell, pubs for dinner and Monsal head for another day of exploring and beautiful walks

Great house in a beautiful location used for an overdue friends meet up. Has everything you need - home from home. We found it quiet and very relaxing. You can join the Monsal trail literally off the drive and it takes c1 hour to walk to Bakewell - an easy walk. We also found a cafe and pub an hour in the opposite direction - after the tunnel and up the hill. Sunday roast at the Royal Oak in Hurdlow was also good.
