I would like to say a big thank you for my hoists Claire and Janet for making my stay most enjoyable/ remarkable. Peaceful position with stunning views . The accommodation was 12 out of 10. I would go back at the drop of a hat. Thank you so much!

For those who want a home from home location no better than living with the hospitality of Janette and Claire. The home is warm and friendly. The location is a dream particularly if you're into walking. The views are stunning from the authentic Derbyshire cottage overlooking Ashover and further a field. For some, a shared Air BnB is something you may not consider. But the only room you share is the kitchen. Superb bathroom with a Victorian style bathtub and a powerful hot shower. I would highly recommend the property and the location. Even with the challenging weather, a five-star review to reflect our wonderful stay. Eating out, we found the food and hospitality at The Crispin perfect for us. As a result, we didn't try the two other pubs in Ashover. This speaks volumes for us as we normally would explore other venues. You will not be disappointed should you visit the area or stay with Janet and Claire; that I promise you.

Thanks Claire to you and Alison for making us feel so welcome and at home. Your beautiful home was a lovely haven for a hectic weekend where you allowed us our own space but were there to help out whenever needed. We felt very relaxed and would love to return and enjoy a visit at a different time of year, it was warm and cosy but missed enjoying your garden and surrounding beauty in warmer weather, Spring was only just starting so lots more to experience. Hope to see you again soon.

Another few days spent like one of the family in a breathtaking location. Claire and Janet are natural hosts, both have the gift of hospitality that makes a break away even extra special. Thank you for a chance to escape and we loved being there in the lead up to Christmas and enjoying your decorations. Thank you also to Smoky😸
