Two bedroom self-catering cottage set in 7 acres of grounds. Very spacious with open-plan lounge, kitchen area and private seating overlooking pond & garden, all set next to a very attractive 18th century water mill. The property itself is in un-spoilt Somerset countryside on the edge of Ham Hill country park with its lovely walks, and views. On the edge of a lovely village with a great shop & gorgeous pub serving locally sourced food & drink. Converted from old barns and next to an 18th century watermill (that still works). Indeed, there has been a mill on the site since Domesday! Lovely views over the millpond with generous open-plan lounge and kitchen. Guests have access to all the grounds including the stunning gardens and fields. They can even look around the 18th century mill and ask to see it in operation!

Abby and Matt were great hosts. Communication was great from the start. They were accommodating when we needed to check in a little earlier. The cottage was just as described. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Fantastic location. We will definitely be back.
On arrival, we were welcomed by Matt and shown around the cottage and given a description of things to do locally. We stayed over the Christmas period and the cottage came complete with a Christmas tree, which was a nice touch. Our cottage was nicely furnished, comfortable and equipped everything you could want. It's such a peaceful place within lovely grounds and we hope to return when we next visit family. Thank you!
This lovely cottage is in a great location. We enjoyed many garden and National Trust properties, walks and visits to Lyme Regis and Wells. The accommodation is good and exceptionally well equipped for self catering. Will definitely visit again.

There are lots of activities in the local area including: National Trust and other historic properties; extensive walking trails; nature reserves; public gardens and various museums. There are also some lovely villages and market towns to explore. All guests also have access to our 7 acres of gardens and grounds. There are over 100 detailed leaflets in the accommodation,however, if you have any specific interests or questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. If this is your first time to the area, we particularly recommend trips to some of the following: Montacute, Barrington Court, Forde Abbey, Sherborne Castle, Wells Cathedral and Stourhead. The coast at Lyme Regis is also only 35 mins away.
All guests have ample off-street parking available.
