overall, we really enjoyed our stay, mainly thanks to the beautiful location. the beachfront setting and gardens were lovely. the only downside was that the property was not well cleaned (dirty dishes, floors, windows, clutter) and considering the high cleaning fees, we expected better. the checkout instructions also have guests do most of the cleaning but the property does not provide sponges or tea towels which explains the dirty dishes and glasses

The property is certainly quirky, and filled to the brim with interesting trinkets and items collected over years. The external grounds are gorgeous and well maintained, however the same cannot be said for inside. The front door lock was broken, meaning we were unable to secure the property during our 4 day stay. Several fly screens were noticeably torn, furniture in one of the bedrooms was ripped, one of the beds had been slept in, with sand all throughout the sheets, the fridge was unplugged and smelt of expired food, there were used condiments left in the fridge (perhaps from previous guests?), kitchen cupboards smelt heavily of mold, and a section of the plane hanging from the ceiling (in the children's room) was lying on the bed. The welcome message on the fridge was a list of curfew times and fines, you are certainly made to feel unwelcome! Although we raised our concerns with the property management group, there was NIL communication across our entire stay. Really disappointing.

The place was every bit as amazing as described, gardens particularly you could (and we did) explore for hours, then finish the day with a wine on the private beach, the raised patio or around the wood fired pizza oven (again, we did all three...). It's a big house for one toilet/bathroom, but looks like owners are renovating an external one, and this would be a huge plus if made operational! Also have external 240V plug for EV charge (I've offered to pay for the power). This is not a pristine, 'made to order' hotel style stay, do if that is your preference it's perhaps not for you. Instead, it is layered with history and you can almost feel you are a friend of the family, and they've just moved out to lend you the place for a weekend.

everything was good. the house was unique and has private beach access. do yourself a favour and book this place for your next wilson prom visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Pomegranite Beach House. The only minor downside was the lack of Wifi and too much clutter in narrow corridors.
